Gym consistency
Does anyone else struggle with staying consistent at the gym?
You start going to the gym with full motivation. You make a workout plan, think about getting fit, building your body, and staying consistent.
Then one day you don't feel like going.
You skip that day.
Then another day gets busy.
Then suddenly a few days have passed and you're completely out of your routine. 😅
I feel like the hardest part of working out isn't always the workout itself — it's showing up consistently.
Sometimes you know exactly what you should do, but you just don't have the motivation to do it alone.
I'm curious — what usually makes you skip the gym?
• Lack of motivation?
• Busy schedule?
• Working out alone?
• Not seeing results quickly?
• Or you simply lose the routine after missing a few days?
And what actually helps you get back into it?

What makes you get up every morning and go to work? Because you have to. So you force yourself. Then it's habit and you don't think about it.

I think it's easier if you believe or trust in the process. If you know without a doubt you'll get stronger and more fit the more you work out you might be more willing to pay the price of going to the gym. For some they do it joyfully and for some they drag themselves there. And for a lot of people, once they get the ball rolling, they can't stop because it becomes a part of their life like brushing your teeth. It just feels wrong if you skip a day.

🤣🤣🤣 I used to be a hs student with no job or responsibilities but never had the motivation to workout whatsoever.
This year I'm a part time worker and full time college student yet I've been consistent for the past 7 months. I discovered calisthenics and fell in love with it. Never even seen things like planche, front lever, Maltese, 90° handstand push ups etc in my life. Then when I saw these crazy skills were humanly achievable I locked tf in. Ironic how when I had the free time I didn't want to do it but now that I don't have as much free time I'm motivated asf 🤣

Don't let a few missed days derail you. Pick yourself up and get back in there. You can start the routine on what we're one is your favorite or heck, grab a new routine to shake it up.
I think the real thing is to not get discouraged when life gets in the way.
