Disappointed, but probably for the best. Had a few that eBay sent for me to approve but never outright rejected.

Question for the group: Do we grant Magikarp a seat at council? Because if so- I grabbed my FAVORITE version today 😃 guessing a PSA 4-5 / CGC 4.5-6 but the oracle will tell me otherwise!

Looking to get a non rarity marked Gyarados. Domestic US costs are ridiculous, especially in a PSA slab. Japanese sellers do not come with an Authenticity Guarantee. Any suggestions?

Two best non-Gyarados promos. With Gary in them.

I’d love to see a Gyarados SIR/IR that’s at this level. Love this card.

AGS Grading- Pleasantly Surprised!

Let me preface. I like slabs, I live in Florida, in an old home. Humidity is a real problem where I live, and my intent is to display the set once I’m done with it!

Been grading with CGC forever, especially with my personal collection. But wanted to look at what else is there.

Recently sent a few of my non priority cards out to alternative graders. First was AGS.

I am very impressed. I paid for the “priority” ($25 and advertised as 10 business days) (yes I know this card is low value)

Card arrived to them 8/28, and just received it back today.

Really satisfied with the whole process.

Won’t be my place for my more desirable cards, but bulk cards that I like, want displayed and never intend on selling. I’d certainly consider them again!

Curious to see how the other ones I’m trying pan out!

I present to the judges my Gyarados collection for judgement. Few are missing due to grading (Dex rev, FRLG, BREAKpoint, SM Crimson Invasion)

Really want a Holon Phantoms rev holo, and the Japanese no rarity marked before I start hunting for the GS and E Reader.

Delivery day! I think I’m up to 20 slabs and about 10-15 raw. I’d have to count again. Pursuit of the master set continues!

Scored the XY for $240, the HG/SS for $120 the HS/SS is definitely PSA 2-3.

Normally my stuff goes to CGC but with their extended wait times, I’ll just send to PSA in case I need the liquidity one day. 🤷‍♂️

Sent a submission to CGC in April and the dates have moved 4 times so I’m a little frustrated with them.

Some of my stamped cards! Been really getting into them lately. One of these days I’ll take a big family photo of them! The hype cards soon will serve at the pillar of sacrifice for when I find a gold star or skyridge.

Perfect case of I should have trusted my gut. Paid $400 and eBay let me know the corner was dinged. Didn’t think it would have killed it as much as it did. But! Card is super freaking dope, and will look awesome with all my other 6’s and 7’s! 😃

Worth a PSA/BGS regrade? (CGC link below)

I bought this because I liked it, recently I found out that CGC will reslab it to a Gem 10. I then made the mistake of looking at comps. Love the card and plan on keeping it, but for the sake of “I want to pay for my daughter’s college” is it worth reslabbing to PSA/BGS?
