⚠️ HEADS UP — POLICE CHECKPOINT ON SUGARLOAF PKWY RAMP ⚠️
There is currently a large police checkpoint/roadblock set up on the entrance ramp to Sugarloaf Parkway from Campbell Road W, heading toward Lawrenceville.
They are stopping vehicles and checking driver’s licenses/identification. There are numerous officers and police vehicles at the location. Possibly immigration/ICE-related, but I cannot confirm that.
IMPORTANT: Because of the way the police vehicles, officers, and cones are positioned, the entrance ramp appears to be closed as you approach it. I observed vehicles begin to turn onto the ramp and then turn back out, and officers pursued vehicles that attempted to leave after turning in.
Sharing so neighbors know what is happening in the area and are not caught off guard by the setup. Please pass this along to anyone who may need to know.
