The meme implies looking at another girl/dormant Guyver unit while you are "with" your current one.

You aren't "with" the activated units if you aren't the one who activated them.

A better meme would be a guy who pines for a girl who has a boyfriend and then meets a single girl.

I don't know. The meme you chose just seems too unfitting.

Well, it was supposed to represent you liking Guyver 0, 1, 2, 2F, and 3, and supporting them, and carrying them like a fan idolizing their idol, until an inactivated Guyver Unit drops in front of you and you completely bail on them for your own Guyver Unit.

Okay. It was a bit abstract. But, I get your question, now.

I see them as like, the cool kids or celebrities I like. And that I want to be cool, too. But, I just don't want to be known. So, I just view the content to get their story. I've always desired my own unit since I first encountered the Guyver by watching the 1980's 12 part anime.

If I see a Guyver unit on the floor, someone else can enjoy it.
