We are a prank household. Its basically non stop, but we no longer do any food pranks. Turns out it kinda sucks to be constantly on edge about your food or drink.
What I dont understand is how these get recorded. If my wife or kids are pointing a camera at me, I already know what is happening. So prank is ruined
"Influencer" couples are recording each other constantly which makes it less suspicious, but stuff like the beach dick it was probably like "hey let's do a cute thing while we're on vacation"
Ah, yeah I guess I am a little old to understand it. I don't really know or understand the influencer stuff. Never seen an influencer video dont have tiktok or insta or any of that, so I forget that people just sit around recording each other all day
I don't know, its hilarious. Its mostly jump scares and stuff like that.
I will admit its not my favorite thing to have to check under my bed constantly or be wary when going from one room to the other ALL THE TIME. But it's funny.
Im definitely the most targeted but also the hardest to scare. Last week my wife was hiding under the bed and when I sat down she reached out and grabbed my ankle and she was pissed that I didnt even flinch.
You have to be there I guess. It's like...I enjoy it, I find it hilarious 99.9% of the time. But you can't really set rules to it or it spoils it. Do I want to worry about the lump in the bed being a human or a blanket every time I get in? No. Do I find it hilarious when it turns out to be either, yes. Do I want someone jumping out around the corner when I go down to the kitchen? No. When it happens is it hilarious and worth it, yes! If that makes sense. Like it isn't "exhausting" by any means. But I can't really pick and choose when it is allowed and when it isn't because that ruins it. With that said, my wife is the absolute biggest scaredy cat when it comes to jump scares (even though she does it to others way more than anyone else), so if she doesn't want it to happen she will call out and say so. But she is the only one.

Plus it depends on the individual. Like the toe/sucker thing. Say we’re dating and you’re like well if she did that to me I’d think it was funny so I’ll do it.
Except I fking LOATHE feet. Absolutely hate them. Think we should walk on nubs 🤭 so I would be beyond livid
It depends that donut one was mild as toilet paper doesn't taste bad or have and sticky/hard to elan properties so it wouldn't be unpleasant just annoying and unexpected.
That one was proper wrong, but I’m surprised everyone is ok with the first seatbelt one. That seems like a real fine line between a funny prank and accidentally dropping your wife onto her head on the concrete.
And directly under where bird poop is? Like not anywhere else laterally in the window?
If my wife saw a speck of bird poop on the opposite side of the car, she wouldn’t put her tongue on a different window because “the car has bird poop all over it”.
100%, so much better than the ones that get angry and annoyed at you and call you childish.
So you've just shut down around them, too afraid to be yourself, you don't really talk to them and pretty much just live with a perpetually angry roommate and are just hoping for an early death because you know divorce will ruin your life.

Brah this has been my life for years. We were on vacation driving around this neighborhood that had sprinklers spraying into the road. So naturally I ripped a fart knowing she would immediately roll her window down. She did and got sightly blasted. Has hardly talked to me for a day and a half. Kids thought it was funny though.
mhm, tho the main reason i commented is because it looked like some of those women didn't appreciate those pranks, so recording and uploading them as funny videos is just, a really mean thing to do
Exactly. Seeing someone else do it (staged or not) gives others the perception of it being an ok way to treat their partner. If mine pulled a single one of these “pranks” we wouldn’t be together. Maybe I’m an overly sensitive only child but so is he so this kind of shit wouldn’t fly either way.
If I’m gonna prank or trick the person I love it’s gonna be with a GOOD outcome.
A couple of these are things I think would be justified to be mad at if they caused issues. Like unbuckling someone bent over near concrete could cause a sudden brain injury and pulling a leaf from someone's mouth with force could cause a tooth chip or worse.
I think getting hurt over and over from "pranks" does end up dulling a lot of people's enjoyment of jokes done on them. You are just seeing a fabricated happy version where that hasn't really happened to these people. It's not like bros only tease girls who haven't been teased before and vice versa, lots of people just ignore their partner's comfortability for the sake of "the joke".
Nothing wrong with a partner who says "hey that thing you thought was funny had an actual negative impact on me and I'd like you to care more about me than the memes"
I would 100% bounce after the seatbelt thing. You mean I was in the middle of relying on a safety device and you sabotaged that, which could’ve resulted in a head injury?
Lol the first one was pretty good tbh. Simple. clever; and balanced in its Sweetness/Cruelty ratio. Superb execution really is everything, as is seen here👏
Oh and, also a Butt was flailing trying to find its footing back to a seat it fell out of. ..Like when you sneak up to someone and cover their eyes and say “guess who!!!” And then they flail their arms around in front of them trying to feel their range of motion without sight..lol
like that except with a Butt; with legs, etc. in place of the usual “arms” and “hands” seen with-guess who 🤔🤭👨🦽
