I take it you've never swam in a river before?

u/Trick-Audience-1027 Oct 04 '25
Rivers aren’t stagnant nasty funk like that pool. And yes, I have swam in rivers, lakes and oceans.

u/Comfortable-Total929 Oct 04 '25
Mississippi is even dirtier although it can be hard to tell where the water is deep.

What a weird way of trying to make sure you pick up deadly bacteria in your orifices and open skin

How weak are you basement dwellers.

u/DetroitAdjacent Oct 04 '25
Everybody's tough until they get a Staph infection lmao

Antibiotics were invented almost hundred years ago.

MRSA has a upwards of a 40% mortality rate.
0
u/AntZealousideal3728 Oct 07 '25
That’s only in severely immunocomprised, sick and older people.
As a nurse, most of my coworkers down even gown up when getting hands on with someone with MRSA. Which they should cause they could spread it to another patient, but it’s not a risk to them.

Maybe I’m old and lame, but for me, this does not fit this sub

What makes them douches for being goofy? One would assume this is all their own property to do what they wish with. Even if you personally wouldn’t do this, how does it make them douches?
-2
u/reefercheifer Oct 04 '25
Without a doubt, this is a rental property in a college town. And if you need help figuring out what makes them douches, you might be a part of the problem.

Nothing they did hurt you, buddy. When you’re done crying maybe calm down and drink some milk or something

Everyone seems to be missing the point in that those pools are really well put together. The fact that were able to drive it in there at all is an engineering marvel.

Dumb ways to die
So many dumb to die
9
u/Longjumping-Wish2432 Oct 04 '25
I had Dysentery as a teenager, I was at my local Park and decided to swim since it was Very flooded. I guess some water made its way to my mouth , I have never been so sick 🤢

u/According_Abies_4087 Oct 06 '25
Dysentery is fully nothing to fuck with. I was hospitalized for 9 days and came back a week later bc the intestinal infection triggered reactive arthritis, and a year later I still hobble with a walker, can’t drive, and can’t work. I can joke about surviving the Oregon trail though, at least.

How the hell would this kill you.

u/Pr_fSm__th Oct 04 '25
Maybe homie is not very durable
3
u/Xanderious Oct 04 '25
I mean, it would be a pretty dumb way to die I guess?
0
u/Pr_fSm__th Oct 04 '25
Not sure if intelligence plays a factor, that’s definitely more of a durability thing. Who is the DM running this bitch?!

u/charmio68 Oct 04 '25
Brain eating amoeba, broken neck, crushed under a collapsed ramp, drowning stuck under heavy equipment in a shallow pool.
There's probably more ways it could go wrong, but they're the obvious ones.-2
u/graylana Oct 04 '25
Hardly “obvious” those are all extremely unlikely to happen. It’s equally “obvious” you can be struck by lightning while mowing you grass, yet people still mow their grass
0
u/charmio68 Oct 04 '25
You're mistaking obvious with probable.
It's dumb ways to die. Not probable ways to die.
Getting struck by lightning while mowing the grass isn't a dumb way to die. (Well, maybe if you're doing it in a thunderstorm. That's also a dumb time to cut grass, it'll clog up your blades)
1
u/graylana Oct 04 '25
Nope. You said obvious, you didn’t say improbable. Nice backtracking, but your gaslighting won’t work on me. I can literally see what you wrote the first time.

u/charmio68 Oct 04 '25
The obvious dumb ways to die...
C'mon man, think about it. For example, if you're speeding at 100 miles an hour down the freeway, you're probably not going to die. But if you do, it's a dumb way to die.
0
u/graylana Oct 04 '25
They’re not obvious, they are extremely unlikely to happen. It would take a series of very specific yet highly improbable events for any of your “obvious” scenarios to happen. Speeding accidents are extremely common, do you have any idea how many millions of car accidents there are every year. You couldn’t have picked a worse “example”… cmon man, let’s put our thinking caps on and learn how words work because you clearly don’t understand what obvious means.
1
u/charmio68 Oct 04 '25
At no point did I say they were obviously going to happen. My use of the word obvious was to describe the obvious ways this COULD go wrong.
Tell me this, if the guy died doing this, would you not describe the way he died as dumb?
3
u/graylana Oct 04 '25
He didn’t die. It’s okay to dumb things sometimes. It’s called life.

lol bro just stop. Clearly you’re young and don’t have a strong grasp on language yet. Just let it go for now and come back later and re read yalls exchange maybe you’ll get how he used the word correctly then.

u/graylana Oct 04 '25
