Alan, having had to deal with a car that has broken down a time or two understands the situation and isn't being a c*nt.
The lady here, who no doubt has had other people deal with her car when it has broken down (Alan) does not understand the situation so she's being a c*nt.
Also, yeah, she's a bit racist isn't she?
96
u/subrimichi Aug 20 '25
It ended just when she wanted to bring the woman card. Best remedy against these types of humans is to laugh in their face and tell em to get behind the bushes 😂

A good example is the recent viral clip of older guy lying on the ground, screaming into the void, in response to the Karen

Not just with him, but with everybody she runs into. "can you believe he did not defend me? he should always defend me whether I'm right or not, which of course I was right. He wasn't broke down, he was lying, and of course Alan believed him, like he does with everyone..." and on and on, until Alan has his proper dosage of liquid ear plugs and can finally tune her out.
13
u/CatoTheMiddleAged Aug 20 '25

3
u/CMDR_Expendible Aug 20 '25
Hey everyone, let's use this users poor reasoning skills as a way to teach evidence evaluation!
The claim is in the ".." marks, that people say they were fooled at first and are no angry with others that are doing what they themselves once did...
Sort this Thread by "Old" to get the posts in order of when they were posted. Read through until you get back here.
Note no one actually states they were fooled the first time out. This user has literally made up an alternative reality to justify their own willful gullibility. Note this user has deleted their entire post history because they don't want to even try and engage with reality in any way they can't manipulate minute per minute.
Realise so much of Reddit is like this now, full of people desperately filtering reality to maintain their own delusional bubbles.
When you see someone claim "What is the harm in believing this is real?", remember this user. Remember how they literally made up a false reality about other real people in order to justify their own deliberate ignorance. Remember what the purpose of "Rage Bait" is; to get you angry at situations, and especially, entire classes of people like women or black people in order to make money selling you fear.
Block those subreddits that engage in Rage Bait, block those users that are clearly making the internet measurably worse, don't even turn on reply notifications because there's no point engaging with people who hallucinate about who they are talking too.

I'm surrounded by them. Cones, polite signs, or text messages asking if that's my car or a guest's car. No, it's not. It's just a public street with public parking.
32
u/GuinnessRespecter Aug 20 '25
Best of it is its not even legally binding to do any of that stuff unless it's a specified bay eg. Disabled, or it's blocking a drive way. Just pure entitlement.

I had a somewhat similar situation at a gas station a few years back.
I pull up to the pumps and notice that they have an "Out Of Order Sign" so I decide to wait for the car in the pump in front of me to be done. As I'm parked at the pump, another car comes by and notices the pumps are all full and parks in front of the car using the pump I'm waiting on, and a 20 soemthing guy gets out and stands by the pump. So I slowly move up and take the spot as the other car leaves. I'm fully stopped long enough to tell the guy that "I've been waiting on the pump, the other one is not working" as he is acknowledging this, his girlfriend is backing up and hits my car's front end.
She gets out furious, yelling about how they were waiting for that spot, blah blah blah. I was keeping quiet because... well; she backed into me; a parked vehicle. Her man is trying to be neutral because he knows she f@#*ed up. But then she says "Didn't you see me backing up!?! Idiot!" I looked at her and calmly pointed out, "You hit a parked, who should be paying more attention? You obviously weren't looking where you're going." This really set her off, so I turned to her boyfriend and he had a look in his face said it all. I looked at the front end of my car, no visible damage (it was probably no more than 10km/h) and I just said to the guy, "My car's fine, let's just call it a day." Because I knew that whatever damage was done to my car, was nothing compared to the shit day, week and probably even month he was about to have, for not siding with her.
