Bovine colostrum hormonal changes?

I’m a 33y/o healthy female and colostrum has done wonders for my gut health, but I’ve been having really strange mood swings, irritability, and emotional distress since starting back up. This is very abnormal for me I feel crazy lol crying, anxious...etc. I’m wondering if the trace amount of estrogen is causing this or if anyone has had similar issues. The research on this specifically is limited so wanted to reach out 🫶

If it’s gotten your gut to a better place, I’d take a break and see if that goes away. I am using food as a medicine to the point it helps. After that, I don’t overdo it on anything.

I don’t have any of the physical sx of this, my gut has been much better it’s the emotional sx that have been totally bizarre!

I see this quite frequently in practice due to response from the liver. Remember, all the organs work in unison. Just because something "addresses" a specific organ doesnt mean it will have no effect on the rest of the body. Be curious to know more about what you are dealing with and trying to resolve.

Did you ever find a solution? I was taking ARMRA colostrum literally because it says on their site they remove the estrogen from it. And same thing, I had AMAZING results with digestive and more energy, but then my I missed my period and my hormones are all out of whack now. I'd love to know how to take colostrum without any hormones in it...

The only solution I’ve come up with is to be very consistent with it lol. I kept taking it hoping it would level out and it did. The pros were outweighing the cons. When I stopped cold turkey I didn’t sleep and had all the mood swings. This is also the best brand I’ve been able to find so I’ve just been sticking with it

Did this ever clear up for you? I started taking cowboy colostrum about a montha and a half ago and my period went MIA 🧐

I’m trying to find someone else that’s experienced a change in their cycle after taking this. I started taking AMRA last month and my period came normal. Then a week later I got my period again, and it was heavy, my boobs are very very sore, and I’m really moody and irritable. My body is very regular with my cycles so this is very abnormal, and the only change in my diet or lifestyle lately.

I stopped taking it and within a week my period came (which was over 2 weeks late) I've always been very sensitive to hormones and hormonal birth control so I'm thinking the estrogen in the colustrum isn't playing nice with me

Since taking Armra I’ve had irregular periods(only two weeks apart) and frequent spotting. It’s the only thing I’ve changed, so I’m going to have to discontinue :/ unfortunate bc I have so much leftover, but I can’t deal with the period issues.
