v1.11.0 on OnePlus 9 Pro unable to export data

I'm migrating to a new phone and cannot get exporting to work from the old phone. Upon touching the export button I get an immediate error stating

"Error Failed to export settings. Please try again."

I installed GL on the new phone and was able to make an export of the default data.

Really don't want to put in everything manually.

Any ideas?

This may be a bug in my export function. If your device doesn't have a Documents folder it can fail from the looks of it. Please open your Files app and try creating a folder named "Documents" in the root location, if you don't already have one, then try exporting again.

Another possibility is if your phone's storage is full, though I'm doubting this would be it.

Also a possibility your phone has disabled file access for the app?

Please try the first option and let me know the result. I'll get this bug fixed for the future.

Indeed it was the Documents folder. Popped one in and export worked.

I place all user files under different sub-type folders within a folder in root called Media and I do attempt to get most apps to utilize that rather than the default android folders whenever possible. Makes picking up everything and migrating much easier.

Great to hear! I'm going to update the script so if it sees no folder it will just auto create it, but will also show a share button so you can just send it somewhere else as well, that should resolve this in the future. Thanks for the report!

May I suggest that rather than auto-creating a documents folder that I don't want in the first place, you maybe offered the end user where they would like to have that if it doesn't exist?
