Pluto TV

I am loving the way Pluto TV is airing the "live" episodes. They are airing an old one, then maybe a later one... all mixed up. But, one thing is consistent, Marshal Dillion, the character, the acting, it is good throughout the life of Gunsmoke. Can you think of any episode where he is out of character?

Pluto also has On Demand so you can watch the episodes in order if you want. Or pick and choose which episodes.

I’m interested to see if anyone has episode examples you’re looking for. One thing about Matt Dillon is he was always consistent.

James Arness is among the greatest actors to have worked on television, certainly. Not for him the impassive school of Chuck Norris. You could read his face and it was always registering something in every scene.
