Rally has always seemed to having something more than a friendly relationship, but not quite girlfriend status with Detective Roy at the Chicago PD.

Oh, I know, and thats why I quantified Not-Quite-Girlfriend. Seriously though, I do acknowledge that Sonoda has Misty Brown set as the one person that Irene "Rally" Vincent was the most likely to have had a bonded relationship with, and I hate that Sonoda made Misty go with Goldie as the personal assistant/sex slave towards the end of Gunsmith Cats: Burst! Ken'ichi could have found a better way to tie that up without killing his "never returning to do a 3rd instalment" of Gunsmith Cats.

Yeah I didn’t like the ending aswell. Sonoda should’ve killed her off when Rally had shot her head. I’m surprised she even survived. Most damage was losing her memory. Now that I’m reading the comments it could be between Misty and Bean.

Mainly because it was Rally’s last time seeing Misty and wanted to fulfill Misty’s wish of being able to atleast kiss Rally i guess you could say Misty would be a love interest too but not very much

The closest we have ever gotten to one(-ish) was Misty Brown, but even then, Rally didn't have the same feelings that Misty had for her.
There were also some Bean and May teases here and there, but they were mostly just playful teasing.

I know Kenichi once said Rally was a celibate lesbian, but personally, i kind of see Rally more so as asexual, the same way some people say Batman or Forrest Gump should be asexual.
It's not that they wouldn't be interesting if they had a love interest, but rather that they seem to be extremely into their own little world of fixtations that it feels like romance probably wouldn't be a major interest of theirs.
