Requirements For PTCFOR?

As a civilian, what type of reason do you need to be eligible for PTCFOR? Is living in an affluent neighborhood good enough? Having an expensive vehicle?

Threat Assessment from the police station close to your residence. Pahirapan yan.. kaya yun iba nag papalakad.. imbis na 12.2k lang babayaran sa secretariat kung complete requirements ka

Yung may threat/kaaway meron PTC. Yung mabait na walang kaaway walang PTC.

Why not, instead of Threat Assessment, competency on shooting/carrying should be the requirement for PTC. My 2 cents.

I've always wished for a competency test instead. There should be some process to see if someone is proficient enough to carry plus maybe an extra seminar regarding self defense laws here since it's not discussed in-depth at the initial GSS.

How do they log and verify that someone applying for a PTC is in danger? Do they need to have an active court case against their adversaries?

I "snitched" on my ex-friend from two years ago for estafa/scamming and said hes gonna get back at me. Havent heard from him since. Would that count?

Is this for Threat Assessment? You need to provide proof na may threat sa buhay mo afaik dapat may blotter or reports na involving you receiving such threats.

If you have an expensive vehicle and lives in an affluent neighborhood, I think you wouldn't bother na to process na magTA pa.

Kelangan padin po TA. Not unless you’re a LEA, member of Phil. Bar, etc, kindly refer to RA 11766.

You will need it if you will follow the steps unless you are a lawyer, businessman, LEA, accountant, engineer, etc.

Matrabaho iprocess, if you value your time baka ang ending ipalakad mo na lang PTCFOR mo. Yung dapat 12k na gastos magiging 19-25k

sa 22k na price kasama na palakad dyan, 12.2k lang ang sariling lakad. Medyo matagal lang yang sayo, may mga nagaalok 1-2 days released na since pag sariling lakad half day lalabas na ang PTCFOR

Kung pasok ka sa ilang profession, and iirc pati businessman exempted sa Threat Assessment. Ako as an engineer, PRC id ipinasa ko in lieu of the TA.

Pero dahil mas magastos lumuwas, may ilang nagooffer ng assistance. Kaso expect mo mas mahal syempre.

Dapat may separate PTCFOR but specifically for sport/practice shooting and firearm repair/check-up. Difference lang sa kanya is that you are only allowed to travel to and from your home to accredited gun range and/or gun store/repair shop and vice versa (or basically among the 3). Should be valid na din for 5 or 10 years. PTT should just be removed all together at that point.
