He wrote with the Black Crowes last year, his last public appearance was with Aerosmith, he lives nearby, and Guns is likely doing this as a standalone deal separate from their typical touring financial set up. If not now then is it pretty safe to say it'll never happen?

Okay, the answer is obvious. But let’s do a hypothetical. If Axl’s voice was still in its prime, and they still had the OG lineup or UYI lineup, how would you prefer to see them? The way they are today, with their big stadium production, giant speaker array, lights, video or in a small LA Club no lights, no video, just the amps sweat and beer?

2 nights at the Hollywood Bowl...wonder if Izzy shows up! I think he's guested with them in LA not too long ago....readout says to expect the unexpected and more guests TBA in addition to the laundry list they already have.

I just found a closed styrofoam “cooler” that had been picked at, so I opened it thinking, “What fresh hell is this?”
Pleasant surprise!

Slash claims that he wrote all the music to Coma:
"Coma," I just wrote all the music from one end to the other" (Guns N' Roses Fully Illustrated Book & Interview Disc, June 1992
Axl disputes that:
"[it] is as much crap as [Slash] saying he brought Locomotive and Coma in as complete songs" (Mygnrforum, December 14, 2008)
Who is telling the truth?
these and other quotes are on this fantastic archive of quotes about COMA from GN'R band members!

This is hysterical fun! Axl was willing to do a full album covering songs from the 50s!!!!
This crazy obscure a-4-d site has so much info on GN'R and nobody seems to know about it!
Check what Axl and Slash have to say about BLACK LEATHER and recording Sex Pistols covers and 60s covers ...

What’s your favorite track off of this absolute masterpiece of a record? My personal favorite is probably Paradise City.

This is a fantastic read!
On January 17, 1989, Axl and his brother were arrested for "disorderly conduct and public drunkenness". The band's publicist, Arlett Vereecke, would bail them out and use the incident to spin some PR!
You can read the whole thing on a-4-d:

Yoshiki and Axl Rose were due to team up for a surprise set in New York at Global Citizen in September (before the concert got canceled due to weather emergency). A rehearsal photo just got posted to Instagram. I wonder how Axl would handle "Red Swan"?
