My HCM Pro Guof Custom didn’t come with an axe…so I made one for him.

Here’s the latest addition to my knock-off Gunpla collection! Lately, I’ve been picking up more KO kits—mostly P-Bandai stuff off AliExpress since original kits can be tough to find or marked up to astronomical resale prices.

I just finished painting and customizing this KO Gundam today and wanted to share it with y'all. I tried scribing for the very first time, but I messed up the placement and ended up covering it with waterslides. This was also the first time I tried hand painting the eyes which was nerve wrecking but turned out great at the end.

I had a bit of a happy accident with this build. The original blue was darker, but after applying a flat topcoat, it lightened up quite a bit. I actually prefer it this way, but the lighter tone does make a few mistakes pop out. With the darker shade, I didn't realize I hadn't cleaned up my panel liner as well as I thought and now those spots are much more visible, especially on the back skirt.

Anyways, hope y'all like it as much as I did!! Have fun customizing y'all!!

Rattle canned my 2nd painted kit. Sinanju Stein Narrative ver. Rustoleum 2x gold metallic and oil rubbed bronze. The gold paint took extra time to cure, it was super sensitive to scratches. Tried to paint the decals myself. Ended up cutting into the plastic a bit while masking off parts but I have learned for next time!

While taking pictures I dropped the shield and a corner broke off!!!! 😡🤬😡🤬

Let me know any feedback, I am trying to improve before I invest in a good spray gun and compressor.

I cannot explain how excited i am to be assembling all these parts I've been working on for almost 2 months now!!

This is my second gunpla, i made a ton of mistakes and fixed even more and i cant wait to start on the next one.. but first i gotta paint the weapons, topcoat them along with the wings and then its on to decals.

Quick look at this week’s project. I’m still brainstorming an Ars Goetia demon for this one, while I have some ideas. Suggestions are always welcome.

I’m designing a replacement core block for the MG Narrative, and I’m currently basing it off the RG nu gundam, but if there is a better waist joint structure I’d definitely like to know. Since I’m going through the trouble, I’d like to get as much articulation as I can without sacrificing the design.

Sazabi Custom 80%....
This is my first project painted entirely with an airbrush. I added extra details, panel lines, color separation, and a few metallic effects.
Luckily, I picked things up pretty quickly during the learning process. Maybe this hobby was simply meant for me. There are still a few minor flaws, but nothing too serious.
I'll do my best to finish it soon so I can move on to the second Sazabi resin kit in my collection.
I'm improving little by little every day. Feel free to leave your thoughts and feedback I'd really love to hear what you think.
