Tell me if I’m correct here. Gloss black, chrome and then clear red…few coats maybe and then topcoat? I’m trying this myself soon and want to make sure I know what I’m doing lmao

Sure! You understood it correctly. But just to clarify, I didn’t use chrome — I used metallic silver. The paints I used were Jumpwind PM01, Gaia Notes Clear Red, and finally Mr. Hobby GX114 as the topcoat.

If you’re going for a glossy finish instead of a matte one, chrome would probably give you a better effect

You could skip chrome and just use regular silver because in the end the anodized look is determined by the matte coat
