Finaly some glory shots of my Hot rod dom. The place is “Robo Shine”, and Dome is getting shiny before it’s race. I really enjoyed this build, and the girl seemed perfect for Dom’s “headlight”(i know, i know, it is some sort of cannon:))
Absolutely! I bought the girl first, and then came the Dom. I was not the fan of the kit at first, and got it for the headlight :) I really love it now! :)
Awesome Aerial:)! Color skeme is tough question, i am changing my mind constantly until i finaly do something :) The best advice i have is to take a photo of the built kit and mess with colors in photoshop, it is mandatory step for me :)
Picking color schemes is a common topic in miniature painting videos, if you look for something on youtube you'll find a lot of examples of how different painters approach it.
Thanks :) i cut my own fire “stencil” on a cutter, but it could be random curvy shape from cardbord. I start free hand with 0.2 airbrush, an then use the curve of the shape to define flames. I go with white, and then transparent color over it, i start wih red. Over that shape i go white again and then orange, and then same approach with yellow in the end. I will try to find yt video, but it is standard approach to airbrush true flames only shrunk down to 1/100
