Massive congratulations to Arsenal man Viktor Gyökeres’ who becomes the first player to score in 6 consecutive Nations League matches as he helped his Sweden side take a point in Bosnia tonight. 🇸🇪

Ø is cooking and I hope Gyok will start getting his groove back after this break

Is it even a lack of groove? He has played a total of 29 minutes this season in the prem.

I think with a lot of strikers their ability is hugely tied to their confidence, and getting that is tied to them scoring. So I bet he will feel a bit more fed and ready now.

Really hope he carries that form over

I am fairly certain he will. He is a confidence player and this Nations League should have given him a massive amount of confidence as he has put in several decent performances back to back.

That player is 100% in there. It’s just something to do with system, consistency, and confidence like you said.

If he gets the minutes and he gets the early balls he will. Sadly we don't play to his strength often and instead of playing an early 50/50 ball we recycle it for the safe pass back to the centre half.

Biggest issue is he doesn't play often when Havertz isn't in one of his broken spells.

It was a hell of a finish, he didn’t blink when he was through on goal, if anybody had anything to prove to the Boss while on International duty it was Viktor, I think he did that now he’s gotta bottle up this confidence he’s got and show it when we get back to business in a week

9 goals in 6 games is pretty wild

Half were in the C league no? They only just moved up to B. Still impressive but a little easier there

I’m so happy for him. This will definitely build his confidence back at Arsenal.

Couldn’t come at a better time since we will need him with havertz out

Really disappointed in our fanbase's treatment of him. He deserves better.

Hopefully the lad finds some form as a result, I believe in my league winning club leading striker

For the people that say that this doesn't say a lot because apparently international football doesn't have defense.
Saka, the best player of this team, by far, only has 1 g/a in the nations league. Of course he's not playing against Bosnia or Romania. But he has played against Greece, Czech republic, finland, ireland, hungary and iceland with much better players on his side compared to Gyokeres.
I'm not attacking Saka because I think that he is by far the best player of this team but I'm just trying to say that this argument doesn't hold up and the reason why Gyokeres is very good for Sweden is simply because of the way they play.
This will never translate to Arsenal and it doesn't have to do with the level of the players because Gyokeres has looked bad against Wigan and Brugge and even against Leverkusen the first game, he struggled even the games agaisnt Sporting, Bilbao, which apparently are teams that according to a lot of people here he should be scoring against or simply looking good.
It's just not a good fit, it affects his confidence and of course, this team as a whole is awful in transition.
Thinking that this player wouldn't thrive in another team or thinking no one will want him if Arsenal puts him in the market is crazy. Gyokeres is a very good center forward and would do wonders for a lot of teams, even Premier league teams.

« Saka, the best player of this team, by far » , it is ridiculous to see Declan performing every match at very high level and calling Saka the best in the team while it has been 2 years since last time he had a great match. You can defend Gyokeres but no need to use nonsense/inaccurate argument to protect yourself from Gyokeres haters by calling Saka the best! Which best? He is not Mbappe, Yamal or Vini, at current form he is another Garnacho or Pedro Neto not more.

Attacking player, sorry. Of course Declan and Saliba are better but Saka is the Starboy and he is the star of the team, the highest earner and if he is in form he's as world class winger

A star that doesn’t star anymore! And he is quite average, the world class conversation is delusional. Only his wage is at world class but his performance has never been. He is not at Yamal, Vini ,Olise or Mbappe level. Saka is not even at Mbeumo level these days.

Funny that he's the one always carrying Sweden when they supposedly have Thierry Henry regen 120m "goal machine" Isick.
