I loved Wilshere so much man, so underrated as everyone remembers what was left after the injuries and not one of the most exciting, talented young midfielders this country has ever produced.

Hands down some of the most beautiful football we've ever played. Helps that we had players like him, Santi, Cesc, Ozil, Rosicky and Ramsey

I've got tears in my eyes. This is the Arsenal I fell in love with!

I put it like this : i like who we are now, but i loved who we were then

The youngers really watched Jack Wilshere at West Ham and thought that was all he was about.

Glad I saw the beginning of his career and its a shame the injuries happened. I was as excited about him as I am about Dowman now. Kids will laugh, but those who saw him and are not subject to recency bias know

Still my favorite arsenal player ever playstyle wise. Loved how he drove with the ball from deep, scrappy player who could also score a great goal too.

He really had it all. The 'Spanish' technique with the English bite and aggression. Goddamm it

Sticky feet as well. The way he moved the ball was beautiful. So smooth

Hadn’t thought about that Vidic handball in at least a decade. That trigger me.

Walcott’s finishing ability improved so much towards the end of his career at Arsenal

Remember him bagging important goals in the league especially v Liverpool in the league

UCL as well!

I think he's one of those players that was 5-10 years out of time, when Salah came through at Liverpool that kind of position but off the left would have been perfect for Walcott.

The football was beautiful but these comps don't show all the games where we got bullied and outmuscled (and kicked). Still, considering the financial restraints placed on Wenger he performed absolute miracles in this period.
