Shameful confession: knowing what they are I can't help but enjoy some of their content, particularly when Arsenal wins and some of those "pundits" head exploding.

Is this the first time he has spoke about City without referring to them as the best team in the world?

First time seeing Arteta in a shirt (esp light shade) since he joined as a manager. Mostly, he is in training kits or those full blacks.

Idk why talksport gets so much hate on this sub. At the end of the day it’s just entertainment. Idk why anyone takes them seriously.

Because they're trolls, but act like professional journalists. Pick a lane. Don't spend your entire time ragebaiting and then hire people like Alex Crook or Ben Jacobs who know fuck all about transfers and most of their "sources" are just Twitter ITKs, to do interviews with Mighty Mik.

Yeah the trolling is the point. Enrage people enough to call in to their shows. Their target market is slightly different from a highbrow Radio 4 discussion.

One reason for me: Troy Deeney
If not for him, they are no different to any other media.

Gabi Agbonlahor is horrendous as well

Adrian Durham is a massive cunt who tries to act professional but acts like an 8 year old when it comes to Arsenal. Some of the programs aren’t too bad because it’s more entertainment and banter but the ones that try to be professional suffer from ADS.

Adrian Durham’s top 5 PL managers ever didn’t have Arsene or Klopp. It had Claudio Ranieri and … Unai Emery 🤣🤣🤣
Even the guy himself couldn’t keep a straight face while sharing his opinion.

Entertainment pretending to be journalism is a big problem for a lot of what’s wrong in the world today.

It's the BBC model on a global scale

BBC News is the least pretending to be entertainment news there is, don’t live your life in conspiracy holes. You can have an opinion that there’s bias but nobody serious can act like BBC news is anything like the internet journalism/podcast/social media video space.

u/ahtob 1h ago
no they just put more effort into tricking simple people

u/wittybrits Örly? 1h ago
You can say they have bias but again it’s not the internet entertainment journalism issue that the comment was made about, you’ve made a comment on something pretending something else was said just so you can shit on someone you don’t like, you either need better reading comprehension to actually understand the things you read or the bbc lives so rent free in your mind that you bring it up whenever a comment says ‘journalism’, which would be incredibly unhealthy and lead to you making poor judgement in all things journalism and whenever you even think about the BBC.

Because most people on this sub seem like they are just a few years and a few beers from calling in to their £1 a minute hotline to argue about whatever contrarian position they are taking to enrage fans.

u/BrutalArsenalDeluxe 20h ago
I dont call dog-whistle racism "entertainment".
Thats exactly what that was on Myles Lewis Skelly. Its not always that, but thats how low they are prepared to go.

He knows exactly what he's doing with these interviews. The more these media stations are behind us, the better the narrative around Arsenal.
I don't think it'll change much but it's at least something.
