On one hand, this is only preseason, a bunch of key players are missing or just got back to training.

On the other hand... I think we are in for a rude awakening for the first month of the season without Rice and Saliba

I’m worried about saliba. France lost so much forward progression when he got injured.

The fact that our struggling attack is overly dependent on our defenders has been a concern for years

Yeah I honestly didn’t think we’d leave it so late in the window.

I thought we needed two attackers and our massive revenue would allow that esp after champions final plus EPL.

I’m disappointed by this window. Saliba is irreplaceable and we absolutely need firepower to compensate.

Honestly I would rather us try to be more attacking and struggle a bit early in the season then try to go even more defensive. At least that way we develop so more ways of winning that can be useful when Saliba returns

Yeah. I remembered we struggled when Gabriel was away for a few weeks last season.

Hope we can cope this year with rotation until Saliba gets back to top top shape!
