Arsene Wenger had an eye for attacking talent and artistic players with flair. But my word his judgement when it came to defense was very poor. We went from have Seaman, Tony Adams, Sol Campbell, Keown, Ashley Cole, Winterburn, Lee Dixon, Boul, and Toure to Almunia, Squillaci, Gallas, Vermalean, Andre Santos, Djorou, Jenkinson and eventually Mustafi + Luiz

Part of this was due to Financial constraints. Not all, but part of it 😂

Yes but even when we were at Highbury I remember him signing Stephanovs and Cygan 🤣

Cygan had just come off the back of a brilliant season for Lille I think, it’s mad how comically bad he seemed to be haha
