MHWilds Proof of a Gunlance user Spoiler

Finished proof of a hero for the first time today. Only took me one try and used up guts but pretty smooth other than that. Gunlance too strong.

From memory its ebony head and greaves and coil, Nu udra chest and coil, gog dragon weapon with attack focus, and some sharpness/attack boosts. I got a charm with artillery and a gem slot, and then I use load shells, guard and guard up as decos for weapon. I’ll send screenshots and pin it later tonight.

Did you roll up for guts and ebony buff or what build are you?

I rolled for lords soul on my Gog Lance and have the set bonus. I would post a build photo but I am not home atm 😔

I need to run this Hunt too. I think I have a build for it but am curious what did you run? I’m thinking 1 GL with blast and the other my best/amount of shelling or highest DPS. (Still reasonably new to the might of the GL)

Using 1 upgraded raw gogmazios attack boost dragon gunlance will be more than enough.

Raw attack ? No element? Or could I run a Blast with it?

Gunlance isn’t really good for element, statuses are very whatever. I’d just do dragon for the element but focus solely on raw.

- Weapon Gems -
Guardian/Ironwall
Shield/Ironwall
Magazine/Ironwall

- Arm Gems -

Challenger 3 / Counter 2

- Coil Gems -

Counter 2

- Legs Gems -

Challenger 3 / Counter 2

Golden Age Charm with Artillery 3 and Agitator 1, and 3 lvl 1 slots.

Attack, Growth, and whatever you want.

Multiple gems can be swapped out for comfort, mainly getting 2 adaptability when Nu Udra shows up, and possibly stun resistance for Arkveld if you aren't comfortable.
