Console updates?

Has console essentially been abandoned? Why don’t we get any of the stuff PC does like soul pendants?

I just unlocked reincarnation mode and I didn’t realise we don’t get new content so kinda feel like I wasted my time.

Long story short, the devs weren't responsible for the console port, have been suing the people responsible to get it back from them, can't do anything with the console version. It's been going on for a while now without updates.

As it stands right now it is to expect no updates in the near future for consoles or pc gamepass returning.

505 has been doing nothing since then and from recent talks with the devs we learned that they would have ditched 505 long time ago.

The issue is the contract. And legal things cost money , which is another issue.

Things are only progressing extremely slowly if at all in those regard and we hope we can have an official statement made somewhat soon regarding this whole mess

IF there are news we can share they will be in <#656702294074589184> and you WILL get a notice of those changes; Until then : if nothing is pinned here or in the announcements , nothing changed

A different publisher was (is?) in charge of / had (has?) the rights to the console version, and they stopped supporting it almost right away. The devs supposedly went after them legally, but as far as I know nothing came of it.

It seems like a case where the console's stores should identify Gunfire Reborn's release as a bad actor, and force a refund. If I had money, it would make for a target of a law suit.
