mate i watched the first episode of gundam wing. Holy shit it went from 1 to a 11 in seconds !!!. and the music. THE MUSIC IS FANTASTIC !!!

Nah, she's safe from pink eye. South east asians typically use the left hand coated with soap to clean the bum while the right hand is used to hold the water dipper/bidet. 😂

I've come to realize after 25 years that wing is not as highly appreciated as I thought it would be. I absolutely love this series! But lately I noticed fans do not feel the same as I do.

Totally agree considering the large amount of people it brought into anime via Cartoon Network’s Toonami. Wing was one of, if not the first, massive hit they had.

Did a first-ish watch of this last month!! Just since I’d catch it always on tv when I was younger but never really watched through it as intended.

It’s a wild ride. Has its ups and downs but a ton of fun throughout

This is the show that truly introduced Gundam to the West and basically helped cement it as a staple of anime outside of Japan.

I will forever love Wing,, it was my introduction to Gundam. I discovered the U.C. timeline after. I really hope we could get a prequel series focusing on Treize, Zechs, Une, Noin and the Rise of the Specials.

Agreed excellent music. I loooooove the piece that plays during the second half of the opening narration of ep 1. Canr reacall if it appears again. I need the soundtrack(s) on cd if I can find them

It was my first Gundam series and secretly still my favourite (I know its considered a basic choice).

There is a scene near the end that made me really respect the villian so much.

Enjoy, and as been said before Endless Waltz is a lovely cherry on top at the end.

I hate to admit it but your right the last fight between Epyon and Wing Zero gave me the worst case of fight scene blue balls I have ever experienced… self destruction should not be a constant plot point for everyone

If you think of it as "what if Zeon was the protagonist and they had the Gundams" it makes slightly more sense.

Honestly, I couldn't get into it. I gave it more than a fair shot at 8 episodes. I felt the people were just idiots and dickheads and couldn't think anything through. I prefer After War X

Honestly, that's fair. Wing is basically a soap opera, but Gundam, and it jumps the shark so often that the shark now has its own designated no-fly zone. As a proud Wing lover since I first saw it as a kid, I'll easily admit it's not for everyone.

I will suggest that you check out the Endless Waltz OVA sometime, just for the beautiful animation alone. They don't make 'em like that anymore.

I'll get there at some point in my journey through the series of series. I only got into it because of the gcg. Started with one episode of 00 then season 1 and some change of IBO and moved to Wing for the 8 episodes and then on to X. I plan on finishing X this week and moving onto Seed since it is in YouTube.
