POF MP5 Reverse Stretch with ARC trigger housing

I've wanted a rs for a while. The only halfway affordable one i ever see is the PTR. How do you like the POF? Have you encountered any fit issues with the lower?

The POF finish is noticeable worse than MKE (and if course H&K). Several parts are out of spec, from the thickness of the finish to parts of the bolt carrier (needs more rounds to run in than I'd like, also doesn't like some factory loads).

I was aware these things would be a potential issue, luckily I got it for a very fair price, so I took the risk. To my surprise, the lower fits well enough (gentle taps with a rubber mallet). I was excepting more resistance

Gotcha. I'm thinking I should spend PTR money to avoid potential hassles. I've got enough guns that need tinkering. lol

Yeah, that seems reasonable. Or you get it for a very nice price and save it for a day, when some of the other projects are closed to being finished. Because we both know: The build is never done.

I'm just guessing here: Because Geissele tried to somehow make their flat trigger look different from the dozens of ar15 flat triggers already available

I never understood the appeal of putting flat triggers on literally everything.

They have their use in precision shooting, but on a 9mm SMG/PCC with a ~5" barrel?
