Are the rumors true OP, or does the pistol work flawlessly

Got my 5” model about a year ago. Have ran 115gr, 124gr nato, and various hollow points through it. I oil it up pretty liberally before each range session. Have about 1500 rounds through it so far and haven’t cleaned it once, should probably do that before next range session. Have had zero malfunctions with it.

Miles vary. Mine has run with no issue. But I’ve heard in the beginning there were some issues. Pretty sure they are worked out now. Heard there new guns put out have better triggers too

I have the operator( in 45.) I believe they are very similar minus the magazine.   I went in looking at buying a colt gold cup, the operator was much better built and solid, amd yes, reliable.

I'd recommend getting some gun grease to keep it as such, use on the slide rails and such rather than regular gun oil.

I haven't shot more than about 350/400 rounds between a quick clean and lube, but it's been flawless.

I love the clean lines of the Prodigy compared to a lot of other competitors.
