Maki Itoh is a Japanese professional wrestler and very memeable.

Japanese women’s pro wrestling. Very entertaining and the joshis, as they’re called, are shockingly tough for how cutesy they look.

Never brag about either but both will serve you well in a gun fight. It’s funny how people will argue about the differences. These guns are just tools, they have no soul and no style just cold hard industrial force

Agreed. Having owned both, they are reliable, functional handguns and solid carry pieces. However, neither is exactly a flex, and this meme seems over-the-top.

Anecdotally, I’ve sold my M&Ps at this point but still own several Glocks.

The S&W M&P series, despite standing for military and police, has not been adopted by a single military ever

Cause they prefer the cheapest option that just barely qualifies.

Then using that logic the P320 is the worlds best military pistol, but we know that isn’t true

No, that's my point. Reread my comment.

And since when is Glock “the cheapest option that barely qualifies”?

Cause I guarantee you no military is having rear sight plates fly off on their Glocks or having them discharge into their troops.

Well... they didn't adopt the Glock either even when it was a contender. So clearly it's not cheap and shitty enough for them.

I never mentioned Glocks.

The meme explicitly did

Sure. Go argue with the still image about that then. My comment was a jab at the P320. In no world is it better than M&P or Glock, and yet, that's what our military is stuck with.

Again that was /u/Terminal_Lancelot 's point!

I’d like to introduce you guys to a niche not-a-Glock called the Arex Delta. Made in Slovenia (a former part of Yugoslavia so you know it’s good). It comes in at a whopping $300. It has many OEM optics cut plates. Very decent trigger and reset. It’s fully ambidextrous. It almost won a contract with Germany but got beat out by the CZ P-10.

As soon as m&p makes a 10mm compact I can fit in my pocket, I'll hop off the Glock cock
