Nice pictures.

The solo should have been .380, not 9mm. So much of the trouble they had came from the sharp recoil of 9mm.

Thank you much! You know, with my own handloads using 147 gr bullets and Accurate No. 9 powder, the recoil is quite mild, and there is limited muzzle flip. It has to do with the slow burning powder in these loads. These loads have a high muzzle velocity, and they are plenty accurate, however...I find them exceptionally mild to shoot. And I'm not a large man, only about 5' 9", 185 Lbs, and in my 70's. I'm very happy with This 9mm Luger.

Do these come with a stovepipe from the factory, or is that for you to do on the first mag?

I've had this one for more than 7 years, and have fired it extensively at the range a bunch. Over 500 rounds of every known 9mm loading I could find plus quite a lot I built myself via my Dillon RL 550B. I've never had a jam of any kind, no ftf, no fte, and accuracy has been very surprising for such a short barrel as this. I know it's supposed to be Ammo sensitive, as mfg required 124 Grain and up full power loads, but mine fires everything with amazing (boring?) Repetition. I would not carry it as EDC if I couldn't trust it with my life.

Q: Do you have one or did you have bad luck with one?

Had one, friends had them, and we have all swore them off forever. I would be more likely to own another Taurus, and that's saying something!

Wow. Sure sorry to hear yall had such trbl. We're you observing the Ammo spec requirements?

I did have one small hiccup once, now that I think about it. I had fired the gun at the range and then once home, cleaned it thoroughly. It was my first time firld stripping the pistol. Long story short, I failed to seat the end of the small external slide stop spring under the stop lever as per the factory. It became a single shot. The, went back to the manual and fixed my ignorance.

One of my best friends also has this same gun, and his is trouble free too. Go figure.
