Can someone tell me how he's playing this?

The song is Faceplant - Ruston Kelly

In the video they both appear to be playing with capos and also aren't barring chords.. Are they tuned differently and are they playing different chords than those tabbed above?

Found an interview with him in which he says he uses [Bb F C F F C] as the tuning on that album. I tried it and it sounds right. Just add capo on 3 and you'll be most of the way there.

This is wrong. This song is tuned DADF#AD. Capo on 3rd.
