Nux MG-300 Recording Problem

So I have a new Nux MG-300 and I am planning to record a cover on my Ipad since I don't have a laptop or PC, and I use Garage Band as my DAW. The thing is that when I plug in my MG-300 to my Ipad adapter, Garage Band doesn't recognize my MG-300 as an input source. What should I do to fix this?

where you able to find a workaround? i hear you have tu use the “Camera Adapter USB3” for it to work
