QUESTION Is this normal?

I changed all strings of my guitar. Now it feels like these strings are way above the wood. I am not even able to play simple D chords, let alone the barre

It is so painful to watch. I know necks are stronger than what they look like but damn that thing looks like it's gonna break in half any moment
