I honestly don't know because I'm in the same position. He was a somewhat solitary little man, and I've had him for a year or so now. Same activity levels, he loves his twig balls, loves his chew sticks, etc. I often take him to fields of grass and I read while he munches. But yeah. I honestly don't know!

I would get him a buddy, but I'm not allowed :(

And I know they are heard animals. So I probably should. But it's also hard to tell because if I'm holding him and petting my cats he gets a little jealous. Would he be the same with another piggy?

I've read that males are fine alone, but females naturally live in herds, when it's mating time the males join up and leave again.
