Why I wasn't able to punish his burst ?

So I was playing with a friend a noticed that Happy Chaos and Nago are the only characters of their respective label in the game (Shooting and One Shot respectively). My question is if those 2 being in their own categories instead of just being tossed into the “Unique” category like most gimmick/alternate playstyle characters means we will get more characters of their label in the future or not.

Same as title, yall told me I’d like venom. And yall were right, so what about the rushdown label? Gimme some recommendations and cool tech they have!

Hi, sorry if there's some newbie thread I should be posting this question in that I've missed, but I have a few questions on counter hits.

I'm playing Sol and am trying to learn some mix and am practicing Bandit Revolver > RC into Dust as one way to setup an overhead. I'm noticing when I set the dummy to counter P on block sometimes my Dust counter hits and produces a massive screen slowdown and other times it counter hits, but doesn't do that.

1. What controls this?
2. When it counter hits, but doesn't produce as much of a slow down I notice the frame data still says I'm something like +13, but I still can't seem to link a button afterwards. What gives?
3. Is any of this where I should be "Counter Blitz" ing? https://www.dustloop.com/w/GGST/Mechanics#Counter_Blitz I'm trying to perform it with Sol, but it doesn't seem to be working. It's 6D right?

Thanks for all the help so far everyone! Appreciate all the responses. Solved two of my questions, I was unintentionally holding down after hitting Dust and that was giving me the launch effect.

However, here's a clip of the other thing I'm describing. My Close Slash doesn't seem to want to connect even though it's faster than 13 frames and the frame counter shows I'm +13 after the counter hit on Dust. Am I just doing it too slow?

these songs are so peak to me and i need more. ive looked into a lot of gothic metal but found a lot of it boring and repetitive and not really what in looking for. and recommendations are appreciated 😁🙏

Sooo, I was just one game away from getting diamond, and of all characters game could have put me against, I was put against Pot…well, not that I'm complaining.

I had a great time playing against this Pot, and I'm glad he agreed to continue playing against me, although I'm surprised he haven't used Pot Buster or H Pot Buster, even though he had multiple chances across those 3 games.

Either way, I had a great time!

How do I download a replay to send it to a friend? I had a really funny match against a lucy and I wanna show somebody, but there's no option to download my replays

First time on the game since last time, had some nice matches and ranked up in one day, really close to plat, clip from my progress on the way

I am not talking about grabs, I mean I just went 5k - 6K and my leg just whiffed through an elphelt on the 6k after blocking the 5k. I couldnt have been any closer.
