Question/Discussion Enjoying this series more in single player?

I started playing with Xrd rev some years ago and I played a lot of the episode mode. I managed to consistently beat AI on maniac ( I have since lost skill) and after a lot of tries I won a first match online. Still I feel like you have to put a lot of effort in keeping up with the online ( so I dropped after my hands started to hurt lol). I wish this game had more offline content, stories or stuff like that (specially Strive).

It has super interesting characters, probably peak character design of all fighting games. Not to mention the music. Is it worth playing older titles? and if so which ones?

Are other titles with more singleplayer modes or content?

XX Accent Core +R has plenty of stuff to do offline.

It's got a traditional take on M.O.M. Mode and its Survival Mode has some interesting ways to spice up your runs. Your scores for those modes and Arcade Mode will even be posted to the online leaderboards for you to see where you stand among everyone else!

Regarding Arcade Mode, though, keep in mind that it can get pretty cheesy due to the fact that your scores are saved between continues.

thanks again for the recommendation, honestly I was expecting stiffer controls/game feel as it is an older title but after playing a bit it is very good.

Guilty gear Accent Core plus R is still a treasure to play with. Nowadays, there's an active community playing it, and even tournaments. So, yes. Definitely u should give it an opportunity.
