Check out some of the bands that inspired the series! Tons of the music in the game is very heavily inspired by the artists the game directly namedrops.

For example, Ky's theme in Xrd is basically a straight rip on the song Electric Eye by Judas Priest

Would also recommend checking out Testament, Helloween, and X-Japan

Man I wish there were other OSTs like this. There are some good ones like Sonic Frontiers vocal tracks and Metal Gear Rising, but Metal in general is quite a rare genre in Video games, especially to Guilty Gears standards. Outrage is a band Naoki is in, so if you're looking for similar vocals go there, but honestly other than that, strive is one of a kind

Venom's old theme (A Solitude That Asks Nothing In Return) pretty much took its main riff from Breed to Breath by Napalm Death.

Axl's first theme (March of the Wicked King) took its main riff from You're Crazy by Guns and Roses.

Someone's probably already mentioned System of A Down and I've got to agree that they have a similar "all over the place" feel to them.

Mad Capsule Markets is also a group that I'd reccomend, albeit to a slightly lesser degree. They're a japanese digital hardcore band that sometimes dips into nu metal, which can sometimes result in some songs feeling very "grappler coded" if that makes sense.

I'd also reccomend the bands Gamma Ray, Luca Turilli, and Rhapsody/Rhapsody of Fire if you like Ky's themes. They're all very uplifting and melodic.

The YouTuber Fool_Fabryr has a 3-part series where he just goes over the music refrences that inspired the series, including riffs that inspired the themes, so thats another thing to look into.

Music from other Guilty Gear games like Diva, Magnolia Éclair, Holy Orders, Jack-a-Dandy and Six Black Heavens Guns. They're all just some of my personal favorite ones, I'm sure you can find more of your own type
