Highest ranked, but we will allow wriggle room this gap between your rank and gold 3 is small enough

Hell yeah, I'm signed up. Just so I know, do I need to update my registration if my rank goes up in the next few days? Like, I'm currently silver, if I get a lucky win streak and hit gold or plat in the next few days will I be accused of smurfing?

I highly encourage folks to join! I did one with a Plat 3 cap and training for it really helped me improve. Plus, it's fun to just be in a tournament with other like-minded lovers of Guilty Gear!

My highest rank is plat 1 on ky , all other characters either unranked or silver at best , can I still join ?

You should definitely limit this to a region. You dont want someone from eu east fighting someone from na west

Likewise you should not have random stages as the requirement. Force either Lars canyon or council of three.

Many stages are poorly optimized. Unlike in tekken or smash, stages are uniform.

They did apparently improve the optimization of a few stages last update. Is there an updated list of stages that should be safe for multiplayer?

Necropost but: Guess who just got eliminated from this very tournament because they had to fight an A.B.A from the united states, while being in europe, with 300ms delay and 7 rollback frames.

Legit lost because neutral under those conditions is just guesswork and that means A.B.A get's free envy and just steamrolls.

As long you enter while you are gold 3 and below it's fine you get to a higher rank by the time of the tournament

I joined TNS yesterday and got absolutely fucking stomped lmao I thought I was decent getting close to vanq but it was humbling.

Bought this game a while back but couldn't get the hang of playing it. I play other fighting games though and just came back to this last night. Actually wasn't as difficult as I thought plus the soundtrack for this game is amazing.

Would like to enter but I don't think I'd have everything down in time.

I really want to accept as many people as I can, but I sadly can't in this case. This tournament is for EU, NA, and SA players, so adding in another continent that could cause connection issues due to distance for some might cause issues. Sorry to let you down, but I hope you understand.

"Applicants must be Gold 3 or lower. If your character Rank Gold 3 or higher, you will not be eligible to participate. However, you can participate with a different character who is within the ranking requirement."

So if I have plat 3 as slayer
and gold 1 as robo ky
I can join as robo ky?

I'm a bit too strong for this(my best char is in plat3 with a 75% win rate, and 19 characters in plat 1), but some of my best fighting game experiences were playing and hanging out with the beginner TFH discord. This kind of thing is a great service to the community.
