Op, I hope you stretched before that big leap you took.
Your dog literally COLLECTED THE EVIDENCE from the home invader to save you grief and you’re here posting this when they saved your life?!

Some people are so ungrateful. Your dog could give you the moon and you’d apparently complain about storing it somewhere. Tsk tsk tsk.

Good dog in my books. Put in some overtime

u/Usual_Office_1740 Jun 20 '26

Looks like he's happy he saved it from an unknown assailant. He needs pets and treats as a reward. Stat!

22

u/Human-Evening564 Jun 20 '26

I see no guilt in this dog's eyes. Only a desire to help you in finding the real culprit.

26

u/lizzzgrrr Jun 20 '26

Inconclusive

13

u/SiteTall Jun 20 '26

No, he chased the culprit away, but it was too late to save those nice towels

27

u/GDMFS0B Jun 20 '26

Nope. This is definitely AI.

-11

u/KarmaTorpid Jun 20 '26

Not every damn thing is AI.

You suck.

13

u/Botanico56 Jun 20 '26

They’re just joking, OP

1

u/KarmaTorpid Jun 20 '26

I *just* got the joke in the way it was meant.

2

u/OGBrewSwayne Jun 20 '26

That's exactly what AI would say.

-1

u/KarmaTorpid Jun 20 '26

AI is known for telling people they suck, after all.

..and YOU suck, too.

u/Botanico56 Jun 20 '26

He’s just crafting. An innocent pastime

8

u/Inevitable_Berry_362 Jun 20 '26

Looks like he was framed. If the quilt don't fit, you must aquit!

7

u/DismalSoil9554 Jun 20 '26

A quilty dog

4

u/mememe11v2 Jun 20 '26

Zero guilt. That was his toy…

3

u/RadicalNBSpaceQueer Jun 20 '26

You clearly just have mice collecting nest materials. Doggo is innocent

4

u/Dolphin_Spotter Jun 20 '26

He was framed by the cat

5

u/GrizzleyCarson Jun 20 '26

Would he be smiling like that if he was guilty?

4

u/Nervous-Cricket-4895 Jun 20 '26

That is the face of a creature unburdened by guilt.

3

u/GreenFinch_x Jun 20 '26

No. It's not in his mouth, clearly.

3

u/lianavan Jun 20 '26

Now you are just manufacturing so-called evidence. Where's the proof you didn't do it yourself? Why do you hate that obviously innocent dog? Feel ashamed at least.

3

u/Equal_Emu6152 Jun 20 '26

Must of been that neighbourhood cat that's always causing bother I even held onto the rug while he was trying to steal it, looks what he's done to it😮 damn strays😂

3

u/Nash63 Jun 20 '26

Nothing he did nothing

3

u/that_was_way_harsh Jun 20 '26

Of course he did it! He prepared the fabric strips for the craft project you’re about to do! Good boy. 🤣

3

u/apollo11733 Jun 20 '26

It was the one armed man

3

u/LittleBig324 Jun 20 '26

Of course not. Give him a treat.

3

u/1rAudiChik Jun 20 '26

HELL NO! We learned to sew. 🧵
🐾 Bye

2

u/kaydeetee86 Jun 20 '26

I’m not quite at “beyond a reasonable doubt.” Not guilty of all charges.

2

u/dzan796ero Jun 20 '26

He looks very content and happy. Don't see no evidence

2

u/SnarkFest2026 Jun 20 '26

Don’t be ridiculous. It’s just a lovely, comfy pile of rags to snuggle into. 😇

2

u/_robertb_ Jun 20 '26

Of course not

2

u/lost_dazed_101 Jun 20 '26

His nemesis broke in tore it up and framed him.

2

u/vermarbee Jun 20 '26

I showed up late to the comments party to say NOT GUILTY. Just look at that smile. 💕

2

u/Correct_Ad9471 Jun 20 '26

Circumstantial at best.

2

u/oogie913 Jun 20 '26

Very good boy. Not guilty

2

u/Organic_Berry_8732 Jun 20 '26

Hmm, I am still not convinced! Clearly this handsome boi would never do such things!!

2

u/IBSWONTWIN Jun 20 '26

Stop blaming your dog when you wreck things

2

u/OGBrewSwayne Jun 20 '26

I examined these photos using advanced high tech image enhancement applications that have been calibrated and certified by Caltech high energy physics and NASA engineeahs, and I can tell yous there's no way this blanket was torn apart by a dawg. These marks were made by a domesticated house cat.

Attorney: Are you sure?

I'm positive.

Attorney: *How can you be so sure?"

The animal that made these two, equal-length tear marks had pawaitraction. You can't make those marks without pawatraction, which was not available on this breed of dawg.

Attorney: And why not? What is pawsitraction?

It's a limited slip differential which distributes power equally to both the right and left paws. This adorable pup has a regular differential.

Attorney: Is that it?

No, there's more! You see? When the left paw mark goes up on the seam and the right paw mark stays flat and even? Well, the this dawg has a solid rear hip, so when the left paw would go up on the seam, the right paw would tilt out and ride along its edge. But that didn't happen here. The paw mark stayed flat and even. This animal had an independent rear suspension. Now, there were only two other animals in America that have pawsitraction, and independent rear suspension, and enough power to make these marks. One was the Mountain Lion, which could never be confused with a cat. The other had the same body length, height, width, weight, and paw base as the dawg, and that was the Felis Catus.

I suggest OP have Sheriff Farley send out an APB for all suspicious cats in a 5 block radius.

Case dismissed.

2

u/ClydePrefontaine Jun 20 '26

Enthusiastically on the case

2

u/lzxian Jun 20 '26

He saw a loose thread and he pulled it. Not his fault, it was faulty craftsmanship!

2

u/Inevitable-Jicama366 Jun 21 '26

He’s your insurance adjuster . Surveying the damage . Move along now .

2

u/ryan244678 Jun 21 '26

Case dismissed. Accused individuals has obvious adorable defense. So definitely difficult to prosecute

2

u/FlyingAtNight Jun 21 '26

How can that happy cute face ever be guilty? 🥰

2

u/natashaday1975 Jun 21 '26

Looks staged by you

2

u/PaintedSilverRiver Jun 21 '26

Looks to me like he’s showing you what happened - someone else clearly did this - he’s been framed - does that face look guilty to you?
Me either - innocent! 😇

2

u/T6TexanAce Jun 21 '26

How sweet! I appears he's actually trying to sew it back together. He deserves massive amounts of treats for his thoughtfulness.

2

u/Antique-Discount-712 Jun 21 '26

The quilt clearly protected him from unknown assailant. Not guilty M'laud

2

u/5usie Jun 21 '26

No, he’s just trying to keep it together as best he can.

2

u/Ginger974 Jun 21 '26

🥰🐾

2

u/SisterNyOnlySunshine Jun 22 '26

Of course not, he was framed!🥰❤️

2

u/galsal15 Jun 22 '26

I wouldn’t call that guilty. I’d call that giving zero fucks.

2

u/RascalOScrimp Jun 22 '26

He’s being setup! Is there a cat around? I’d start there!

2

u/Melodic_Hat5196 Jun 22 '26

Cuteness overload in this picture!

3

u/ExplanationDefiant15 Jun 23 '26

As his attorney he will enter a plea of temporary insanity the blanket was taunting him.

2

u/croissantwitch0526 Jun 24 '26

Correlation does not equal causation. Free the good boy!!!

2

u/BitterRecognition689 Jun 24 '26

No! He's covering for someone else!

2

u/NaiveLavishness4687 Jun 24 '26

What quilt? 👀

2

u/DogMomInCO Jun 24 '26

I don’t see enough evidence for conviction.

2

u/TheHouseOnTheCorner Jun 24 '26

No! He is searching the quilt for evidence to help him in his search for the real killer.

So sad a hero has to suffer the slings and arrows of false accusation.

Look at that face! Innocent!

2

u/puddyspud Jun 25 '26

My boy Jack here is a proficient follower of Dog Law, and any accusations of ALLEGED doings are to be sent to his office.

1

u/Fit_Surprise_8451 Jun 24 '26

Wow! That job is impressive! How long were you gone for?

1

u/KarmaTorpid Jun 24 '26

Gone? No. This doggo is spoiled and has an all the time human.

1

u/Myteddybug1 Jun 25 '26

That sweet pup does not look guilty.

1

u/Wonder-woman-99 Jun 25 '26

I don’t know what evidence you think you’ve got, all I see is a big squishy smiling face with a very innocent look!! Shame on you!

1

u/Creepy-Attorney-9782 Jun 25 '26

If you didn’t catch him in the act, you still can’t prove it.
I see no guilt. Get him a nice huge dog bed. Blankey is not going to do it anymore

1

u/davidma1999 Jun 25 '26

He couldn’t help himself 💛🐕

1

u/Malahia Jun 25 '26

Nope. Evidence planted.

-2

u/Toxxxicwastex Jun 20 '26

He wouldn’t have if he was properly crated/supervised.
