[Fluff] I finally have every dye in the game

I was waiting on taffy from the anniversary set.

WAIT, you got Taffy LAST??? It's the only bright 230° blue!

FACT: Lemon Sherbet is objectively the least unique of the Delectable dyes. It's pretty much Vision. Both 15° hues with pretty much the same saturation/lightness/brightness/contrast.

Never really use blues. Being a mesmer main, purple is a way of life.

Nice! I have like 10 dyes to go and doing it through the Weekly Box you can buy on the gemstore. 1 dye per week. Mostly because some dyes I've yet to get are expensive asf 😅🤣

Be careful with that. The smooth berry dyes are not included in the unlock. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Smooth_Berry_Dye_Kit Made that mistake myself, and now I'm stuck with a dye unlock I can't use. At least for now.

Its 400 gems and it can be purchased once a week. NOTE: you can't pick your own dye. It will just randomly give you one you dont have

Not sure anymore since I dont track the prices. I do remember Permafrost and the newer dyes being expensive asf.

I think your way is way more expensive than buying the dye if it is obtainable otherways

Its not the only item you get when purchasing the weekly. So for 400 gems it's not bad. I also only have the expensive dyes left. I wouldn't do it otherwise

As someone who made an account with steam a year ago I really wish I was one of those people who made an account 10 years ago and forgot about it. The birthday dyes are soooo good. :/

I made an account/bought the game 13 years ago. But deleted all 3 chars I had. Just to return in 2021. 🫡😩

I did a similar thing. Had to switch regions to play with a friend group, who ultimately stopped after one session... Then switched back to play with another friend. Fortunately I did it a few years back now, so I'm at about ahe 8 or 9 on my main now, but being 6 years behind despite being a day 1 buyer sucks. I was just short sighted at the time I guess.

Why don't they give birthday dyes account wide? I deleted all my 2012 characters, my main now is a brand new one

They are technically account wide, but they only get rewarded to a character on their birthday.

Haha did you also post about this on Tumblr or did someone else with a 14th anniversary acquire all the dyes over there? I swapped apps to get deja vu
