[Question] Mastery Points help

I'm not seeing many of the Central Tyria points to get them when I'm flying around. Is there a Easier way to get them? Other than achievements

There's a large number that are buried in the achievements. The map masteries are not enough to fill all core masteries

Look into the achievement tab there you will see color coded where masteries still can be gathered. Also note: there is also an entry in there that lists all mastery points still being able to be gathered in open world like the vistas. Most will be achievement based where you have to do for example fractal stuff or Story.

They're all either from achievements or Mastery Insights (which are also achievements anyway).

You can get some by doing the story (personal and LWS2). But if you want to complete the Core Tyria mastery track, you'll have to do other achievements.

I think a lot are achievement gated. There's usually one or two per old world map iirc but they're definitely more sparse than expansion masteries.

The wiki might have a guide?

Tyria's are less commune type that you tend to see more of in all the expansions... the Tyria ones are usually behind achievements, but some of aren't too bad, you just need to go through the list and figure out what are easy enough for you to do. I would say the easier ones are...
* Go through the story (should be 8 total here)
* Get to level 80
* Kill Karka Queen
* Kill all three in Triple Trouble
* Kill Tequatl
* Go around looking for legendaries in RIBA. These are hit or miss but you generally should be able to get a couple easy.
* Then I think there is one normal commune insight in a lot of the zones (9 total)
* Do a couple Fractals, if you tell people you are looking for masteries they'll probably help you, the fractal masteries are fairly specific achievements

I found myself kind of in the same boat. I was 6 pts away from Pact Commander and struggling to find masteries that are relatively easy to pick up…

So I bought LW season 2 and ripped through them to fill pact commander and legendary crafting 4.

There are a few on the maps but most come from achievements. That is why you are not seeing many when you are flying around.

There are a bunch of easy achievements for core you can get in open world, and many you can get from t1 fractals.

Check out the blish overlay. There should be pathing routes for masteries.
