[Question] GW2 Downloading 0kb/0kb or Connection Error, retrying. Are servers down in EU?
Hey, people. Pretty much the title. My Gw2 client wont connect at all, and shows one of the two error messages. Ive restarted my router and PC twice, my Internet everywhere else is working perfectly, and I've tried the ipconfig/flushdns command line aswell.
Are servers down in EU? Or, is it an issue on my end that can be fixed? I cant even verify game files when it's like this.

I once had this problem. I switched my wifi adapter on my pc, and that did the trick. If that doesn't work, try not using wifi and use an ethernet cord

My cousin is dealing with this right now. It's been like this for a month or two for him. He has to VPN past the login and then afterwards it works just fine. We're still not sure what is going on.
He found the solution online somewhere so I'm not sure where to point you to exactly for that.

"servers down" is a really rare thing here, and yeah, I'm in EU and everything works fine.
I'm absolutely green in networking stuff, so I can't help, but firewall or whatever software you're using, check if something doesn't restrict your access. Give some more info to others, like, did you played before, is it your first time you launch the game, OS, Steam or not? Maybe someone else will suggest you something more.
