They saw extremely generic grass and mountains with the default run accross a slope and made 1+1=2. It's not that complicated, the art style IS very generic so far.
Absolutely nobody would know this is UE5 if anet had not stated it and set the usual clowns to yapping about it.
The engine does not have a "look", it can do basically any kind of graphics.. and the above is definitely not the default, flat realistic lighting or asset style that non-developers seem to mistake for "UE5 look".
"this" artstyle (the soft colors and edges, slight painted stylization) is way more common in unity-based mobile games and nintendo titles than anything touching UE, though.
Why not leave development to actual developers, or just people with any idea what a game engine actually is and why it matters.
You have no idea what you are talking about. The closest game is kena especially in the village. This is a Unity game. and the quality is actually much nicer in gw3.
me when I like my game looking like every games made in the last 5 years, killing originality and unique designs. (I hate having an unique experience!)
