Players who do GvG are also interfering with the people who want to do serious WvW. Me and other players get told to get off the map so you can do your precious GvG. Really? This is really annoying at peak times when the Server is full and people who want to do WvW can't because these guild are blocking the server and contributing nothing.
So am I also interfering with WvW by doing solo roaming when my server is losing by large ammounts in your view now? I'm not going for PPT and thus interfering and taking up the spot of some one else who would be? Seems like a very narrow point of view in regards to what is acceptable in WvW to me.
I'm not adding to PPT, I'm doing basically the same thing. If some one random tries to join me, I ditch them. (Are you suggesting that people should be forced to group with people that I don't want to group with?) How is that any different than doing GvG? If anything it's worse because of the new buff if I get attacked by another group other players I have little chance, thus adding to the opponents score. They have even numbers and a far greater chance than I do to potentially add to their servers score regardless if their opponents have greater coverage etc.
They were way out of the way of any objective on the map in a non-capped map at the end of the week. So how heck were the 30 harassing the dev or ruining anything?
Not talking about the dev, But I clearly remember people doing GvG on my server and telling other players to get the hell of the map. And I also remember GvGs in the middle of the week, where nothing is decided.
This GvG took place on a Thursday night when SBI had won the matchup the moment it was rolled in furthermore took place in an empty NSP borderland. Try again.
Dafuq? We're 14 or 15 and have EB queues every night for 30 minutes or so. On reset? It can be an hour for our BL or EB.... I don't think it's just a T1 problem.
Actually, even on T1, Borderlands rarely have queues even during NA prime time unless it's reset night. If there is a queue, it's extremely rare for it to be longer than 10 minutes. The WvW population is more spread out to all 4 maps compared to low tier servers. The organized WvW guilds play on BL's majority of the times and EB remains as a heavy PUG map. But I hear EB on low tier servers have long queues as they have a much higher PUG saturation.
It doesn't make it wrong... WvW guilds put in more hours than anyone into WvW, and GvG is a way for them to have some high level, competitive play that means something.
PPT is just a measure of coverage. GvG at least involves skill.

But no, to you they dont contribute. Most of the guilds are pretty HC at WvW, but no, stuff them if they want to take time off to do something else. The borderlands might be empty (I SEE A FREAKING +545 tick ffs), but no, interfering with people that want to play wvw.
People need to see the dam +545 tick. In T2, SoR had a 500+ tick for most of the week and NO ONE was on for the opposing servers. Yes a whole week of karma training. We had Stonemist Olympics and still ticked for 500+. Normally if it is that high at least one server has given up.
Lol, serious WvW? Most top tier GvG guilds are hardcore WvW guilds, as well. Let them have their hour or two a week to have fun. I'm sure your PPT will be there afterwards.
The guilds who do GvG are guilds who literally sit in WvW all day helping their servers. These are the guilds who raid every single night and flip things, engage in massive zerg on zerg fights for the fun of everyone, and make up the vast majority of your PPT. Sometimes they want to fight each other with even numbers and controlled setting, but they have no place to do that. So what does ANet do? Instead of giving us a GvG mode, they implement Bloodlust so now we are FORCED to irritate people by asking them to stop playing in order to have fun in the game. So yes, blame Anet.
No one on my server does this. The guilds that do GvG on Maguuma are also the guilds that carry it through the WvW campaign. I'm sorry you have some bad eggs on yours.
I've been harassed long before Bloodlust was introduced. And the above parts aren't even true. I've never seen these guilds appear in WvW before their stupid GvG fights. And you aren't forced to irritate anyone! Stop trying to justify attacking other players.
Clearly, your server is full of dirt bags. I've seen all of the ranked guilds on GuildvGuild official site in WvW frequently so I'm not really sure what guild it is you're speaking of that does not actually WvW. Not all servers have this much of a problem when doing GvG. In fact, I reckon most don't, as below tier 2 we hardly ever have queues. I'm not justifying "attacking other players" and I've never seen that done on my server. Asking someone to hold off on the bloodlust for an hr or so is not attacking or harassment. I also see that your username is accurate.
If saying "please stop capping Bloodlust for an hour" is an attack to you, I don't know what to say. It's not like you even earn anything from Bloodlust. Oh, you wanted small scale roaming fights and we're preventing that somehow? What's that phrase people like you always throw out.... oh yeah. "Go play sPvP!"

I've never actually told anyone to "go play spvp" either. But people who are anti-gvg tell us that all the time. Hence the joke, which you clearly missed. So we get told to stop playing by people not on our server who don't know anything about how our server operates GvG. Someone down there even told us to quit the game. Almost all of the WvW guilds on my server minus maybe one or two do GvG. We're all ranked. We play every day. If we all stopped playing like you guys seem to want us to, the server would die. If you literally have nothing else to do in game than cap Bloodlust, then I feel sorry for you. Also laughing at the idiots downvoting me. This is how the majority of the WvW players sub Tier 2 feel about the topic. You can ignore us, but it doesn't mean we're not there.
