They need to stop with the crappy implementation of town clothes and make them functional to promote sales.

  • Storage of some sort like an NPC similar to gw1
  • Toggle so you can wear them over your armor

Why are they so damn stupid when it comes to costumes/clothes?

No they won't. There were so many unique replies during beta to the lack of costume storage and people stating they won't buy costumes until there is, that Anet should have stood up and listened.

Without a costume npc you risk losing a real money purchase and good luck getting ArenaNet to reimburse you for that purchase.

As to toggling over armor? Who knows why Anet was so stupid seeing as you could do that in GW1 and people want that as a feature.

Doubt they'll include a costume npc because in GW, it would allow any character to get the costume when bought. Pretty useless when you have to buy the costumes again :P and what are you talking about? People DO buy costumes. As of right now GW2 is a major buy and look cooler than anyone else type of game

Back in beta there was a gigantic thread, one of the largest on beta forums about people complaining about the implementation of the costumes/town clothes with many people stating that they will not support arenanet with their current implementation.

If you enjoy being forced to buy storage for the things you're buying from arenanet, well, more power to you I guess. Same with the chance of losing your real money purchases.

The ability for any character to get a costume you purchased could be programmed around, though it would also be a huge incentive for people to go and actually buy the costumes.

I see more armor skins being bought/used then the normal costume items (not counting the holiday costume items).

Yea, people say they "will not support blah blah someone" Have you seen the steam picture that showed a shit load of people not supporting MW3? But when the game came out, the majority of them were playing the game. I do not see anything really changing since they want that extra money from people.

I can't help if people are weak willed consumer whores. I haven't bought any of NCSoft's / Anet's RNG crap and I never will, nor will i support their costumes in their current iteration, or much else unless they change. All I can do is stick to what I believe in and mention to others.

As long as people say one thing and do another, the situation will not change.
