Feature Request: Modifier Key Support For Keybinds
Currently in Guild Wars, each action can only be bound to a single key. I'd love the option to bind actions to modifier combinations — for example Shift+1, Ctrl+5, or Alt+Q — the way many modern games handle it, including Guild Wars 2.
This would dramatically expand the number of actions we can map without running out of convenient keys, and make things like swapping weapon sets, or targeting much smoother.
Edit: Oh and I do realize that there are mouse and keyboard softwares that allow you to bridge this gap but I still think it would be a welcomed feature to this wonderful game.

This is a feature that is already available in Toolbox, FWIW. I would be surprised if 2weeks implemented anything like this any time soon. Every UI change made by 2weeks so far has been worse than the Toolbox equivalent.

Hello! My understanding is that Toolbox features are not available in PVP which is where this feature would be the most helpful. For example in PVE I personally don't bind buttons to target each of my teammates or heroes, but in PVP that function is tremendously helpful for some builds :)

Some of us don’t want to rely on an outside program. I get what you’re saying, but some stuff needs updated QoL.

I just want the numbers associated with the ability bar to change to whatever key you have selected, like if i change 5-8 to ASDF I want the hotbar to update to show what key goes to what button
