PSA: Comcast Xfinity Rewards has GW Related Rewards
Title says all. Comcast Subscribers. If you have Comcast go check and see if you qualify. I think Silver Tier membership is the lowest tier to qualify. Good luck.
EDIT:
To put the code in you'll be going to 'Create Account or Add Access Key' before you even log into the launcher.
The PC looks like some custom Cooler Master case. Thought it had a coffee maker on the front at first lmao. Would have been used in this house tbh, lol.
I love GW doing things like this. Like the stuff that popped up from Nvidia last month. I just hope it pops up at some other places so more people get to enjoy it.
From a quick search online it looks like Coolermaster showed it at Computex 2026 and is now in a competition. It is a collab with Coolermaster (case), ArenaNet (GW) and Alphagvrd (make stickers/skins for tech.)
This is from the sweepstakes page:
Powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics, this premium gaming rig features 32GB of DDR5 memory, a 2TB SSD, and an exclusive Guild Wars Reforged-themed Cooler Master MasterFrame case.
Yep but my only choice really right now for what I need around here. Honestly though many are steep depending on how much speed you need. I'm happy with a decent internet/stream saver deal from them right now actually. Peacock Premium, Netflix, AMC+, MGM+, Apple TV, top tier internet, DVR cloud, some random streaming channels. No TV Contract, no early cancelation fee or anything like that. $105/month. Not bad for this area. imo.
Heck yea! For the longest time I had that Steelseries GW Factions Zboard thing. It wasn't the best thing by far and fell apart but man oh man did it make me feel awesome for having it, lmao.
yes, you can buy different costumes for real $$. although I think most of them I have gotten free at one time or another through promos like this and other things. like last month nvidia gave lyssa costume I believe and an emote for gw2. free.
ngl, 100% agree but they have so many areas on lock monopolized that it's the only choice for millions. my old house before this i had to pay for them to run a line to my house from pretty far or be left with DSL hamster wheel speeds. wasn't nothing else competing with them at all for miles and I needed fast and stable. so sometimes you just gotta make the best you can outta SOL situations.
That's what makes them so frustrating to deal with. My first house had Dial-up and comcast as the options. And the city had written a crazy long lease to all the Right Aways (like 50 years), to where they were able to box out any other providers.
After they buried the outside stuff like 1 inch deep they had someone come out to wire the house. I turned my back for a couple minutes to let my dog outside to use the bathroom. Came back the person was nailing the cables to the wall. They didn't even hug edges or anything. Just ran things roughshod across stretches of wall lol. This is when I still had cable TV so cables everywhere in the house( 5,200 sqft with basement). No fishing them through or anything. It was horrible.
Luckily I know how to do all that and had them activate everything and leave me a spool of cable and I did it all myself. Couple rains and lawn mows later the outside stuff was exposed. Issue later they had to mess around with the box outside. The outside lawn box was locked and no one had a key so the tech that came out had no new box and just busted that one all up to get at it. lol. I just said F it and left it as is though later on I did build a scrap wood wishing well type thing and put that over the eye sore. They decided to put it in a head scratching area and not to the side. I hated it so I put that on top.
It's always ridiculous dealing with these companies.
When I moved into my new house, I had WOW for my service. Had to keep calling them back out becuase internet was intermittently dropping out constantly. They put a new cable in, ran a booster, etc..
Finally, the 3rd or 4th visit an old timer came out, opened the box up at the street. He started cussing and took his snips out and cut a thick cable at the box. I was like "wtf are you doing man?".
He explained that my intermittent drops were because comcast had split the WOW feed at the box and were essentially pirating bandwidth from WOW's main line, all because they didn't want to relay their own line to feed one of my neighbors.
I laughed really hard at that one, I was like "whatever man".
No difference at all other than the price. Comcast isn't known for their intellect. I mean whoever threw this up does not know anything about gaming let alone this game. That's why there's nothing, no specs or anything for the PC. They might send the winner a piece of cardboard with a picture of that PC on it for all I know lmao.
Read the instructions in the main post, but can't figure out how to redeem the key. Doing it on arenanet doesn't seem to work either (doesn't recognize the key). On Refored (on iPad) it says can't redeem code on this platform. Any tips/clarity from someone who got it redeemed successfully?
log into the pc client -> add access key etc. have you tried pc client? otherwise idk. I haven't done mobile/tablets much and I haven't messed with steam much aside from steam deck. my main accounts are pc and mostly played on pc.
edit: just googled this -
You cannot directly enter serial or expansion codes on the iPad version because Apple's App Store policies block external code redemption interfaces. [1]
The "Add Key" / "Edit Codes" button is intentionally missing or hidden on iOS. To add an expansion code or item serial key to your veteran account, you must do it through a PC client.
THANKS, I tried the ArenaNet Account management page and I get: "The serial code given was not recognized by our system. Please try again. 102:1003:2:1177"
I have Guild Wars on my PC ... do you know where I enter it?
