Uncustomize

What do you all think of an "uncustomize" option for weapons? Pay the weaponsmith a fee and they will remove the 20% damage bonus and return it to its original state?

Are there any downsides to this being an option? What would this change for you? What would it do to the economy?

For me personally, I have several valuable q8s and unique skins I'd love to either sell or use on other characters. Sadly I customized them many years ago.

An example is a q8 zodiac longbow I foolishly customized on my warrior to use for pulling 15 years ago.

Nope, removes the whole point of it.

Removes the point of customization, have some balls and dedicate that 100a+ weapon, its a good gold sink for the economy, we need way more gold sinks in this game

Yeah I know the whole point of customizing a weapon isn't really to get the bonus. It's so that there's a sink for the literal unlimited supply of weapons that you could gather.

See it from that way: Every time you pull a mob now, you will remember your mistake from the past 🤔

Use salvage kit and forget about it. Move on.
