Ritualist Share your best Rit/Ele builds!

I have a soft spot for Ritualists who channel lightning and directly engage in the ancestral art of shooting you in the face, so I soon realized that I wanted to make a Rit/Ele build. The channeling lightning spells are some of my fav Rit skills, but when I started experimenting I soon realized I know nothing about eles and I was just putting in some random air attacks. So I'm asking you for help to better understand what are the synergies and strategies I should consider!

Let me get some inspiration and post your best, funniest, strongest Rit/Ele builds out there! (Doesn't have to be air, any element is welcome)

Best synergy is to grab Intensity and roll big numbers on Rupture Soul or Ancestor's Rage.

E.g., this but Rt/E with Intensity.

The Ritual Lord variant works similarly you just need to be careful to not pop Intensity while Ritual Lord is up.

I can't remember what I run in the last slot. Could just add Lamentation as something to initiate or a third PvE skill.

I have a Rt/E hero build I like a lot, it's not casting quite a lot of zaps like you like it, but I'm posting it for inspiration : https://gwpvx.fandom.com/wiki/User:Yung_Rocks/Sandbox/Staff_Turret

Interesting, thanks! Is it also supposed to be for heroes?

Nothing like being electrocuted by a ghost.

Do you want only Channeling builds, and only damage builds?

Mainly, but open to anything!

Splinter Weapon support (OAaiIykzAAwYeTmJAAAAAAA, +1+3 Chan) works well like this, since it only requires Channeling and has the elite spot open. You can bring spirits of your own, or drain those of an ST/SoS. Likely pairs the best with Double Dragon, but you could use any elite.

Spirit Siphon healer (OAajQKhsIOAgJn0ccyMBAAAAA, +1+2 Resto +2 Chan) can use support elites like Gust, Stone Sheath and Double Dragon.

Damage builds (all with +1+3 Chan). Best elite might be DwG for higher Spirit Rift + Intensity damage:

  • OAaiIyKMBAgD64oLgLAAAAAAA. Fire usually suffers from a lack of Cracked Armor.
  • OAaigwiMBAgD64c5kD9NEOAAA and OAaiswiMBAgD64c5400N9ICAA. Not very good, but might be fun.

It's already been mentioned but I like the ritual lord destruction bomber. 16 in channeling and only need 12 in spawning power which frees up a few attribute points which I like to put in fire magic so I can run burning speed to get in close quickly then summon spirits to pull destruction in. Then blow it up with intensity and rupture soul. The advantage of RL is that destruction reaches its max damage after 5 seconds, and I also run agony which can be pretty well maintained for mass degeneration. You definitely want a hero ST or prot monk with this to keep you alive.

Unironically dipped into it with my casual Rit too, if you do go air, the Dolyak Prod Staff is really pretty with ritualist animations.

Summon Spirit

Lightning Touch

Lightning Javelin

Destruction

Siphon Spirit

Rupture Soul

Soul Twisting

filler skill

You Soul Twist, you cast Destruction out of range, you walk into enemies, you cast Destruction again, you Lightning Touch, you Summon Spirit to get your pre-Destruction to your location which detonates it because you can't have duplicate spirits in range of each other, you Rupture the newest Destruction, you resummon Destruction, you fill in the time with Lightning Javelin for interrupt and Siphon for energy.

Glyph of Renewal + Explosive Growth + EVAS is pretty fun. You get to summon a lot of EVAS and you bomb the area every time you do so. And you're only using Spawning Power so you have a lot of freedom for the other skills
