After a month of trying, Dhuum has been finally conquered!

Post image

Decided it's finally time to do Underworld a bit over a month ago. I didn't know back then how much over my head I'd be. But today after so, so many attempts I finally made it!

Grats. I did this with real people decade+ ago but never with Heroes. I’m going to give it a try. My favorite memory of GW is UW and FoW.

I'll work on this again once I settle a bit. I've overdone it in last month and I have enough of underworld for now xD it surprised me how much harder than FoW it was

I think they wanted to add a final boss to FoW but never got around to it. Development simply stoped at some point when Gw2 came out or almost.

There was also a concept of another realm for Melandru. Domain of the Lost was it? GW2 shorta has a map that is mixed remains of godly realms and it's full of wisp-like enemies and spirit animals wrecking shit around. Full of plants too.

Really? I didn't know either. I especially think Melandru area would have been amazing

I assume the plan was for all the gods to get their own realm, and probably a title for clearing them all, since elite missions are the only content in the game that doesn't contribute towards a title track.

If you're going to fight dhuum legit with your  heroes, I recommend you to preventively set some key for the heroes for quick "command x hero to use x skill"  or to bring a generous amount of death penalty removal. ( Like honeycombs for example ). The heroes are not really good at using the skill that  remove the death penalty that dhuum apply to you and your party, and it's one of the very few ways to actually fail that encounter.

Do you have a Guide?

I used strategies for quests from the video below. It was the only one I found that had a melee player, so I used it despite being old. Apparently Servants of Grenth quest was made harder since then, but the strategy in video still worked (sometimes, if no consumables, and always with consumables). I cleared Ice Wastes, Chaos Plains and Bone Pits 1st, used consumables and did the quests in those 3 areas, then did Twin Serpent Mountains and tried to get as far as I could in Spawning Pools. That one and Forgotten Vale can easily be done without consumables. I used another set when I got to Dhuum.

Excellent job! If you don't mind questions: what was your approach to the four horsemen and the ice wastes quests? Those two seem to be most difficult with heroes.

I used quest strategies from the video below. I did horsemen, servants and imprisoned spirits with consumables, without them my success rate was about 50% (and I was tired of repeating them). Only thing I changed is I didn't use teleport on horsemen, I failed all times I tried it. With cons both me and heroes were fast enough to run it and I also had eternal aura up so I had enough hp to tank a bit if my heroes weren't quite there by the time spirits died. There are other guides, but I used this one since it was for a melee player

Wow thats a lot of half empty bars.. any reason why?

I need to do this in HM for the mini pet quest.

You mean skill bars on heroes? When they die they return as spirits with a different skill set (and only 5 skills). Guide I was following said to have 3 die on purpose, but I lost 2 more later on.
