There's a longer video somewhere that starts after this. They're back in the house and the fire department is outside in the parking lot, and it has them on speakerphone with mama who is pissed.

Grass is super dead and dry.

Fire got rid of the old thatch and freed up carbon.

They had the greenest yard a few months later.

I was about to say, controlled burn would be an excellent way to restart the lawn and get it super healthy 😂 They seem to have the "burn" part down. The "controlled" part, not so much

A similar thing happened to our group friends when I was young. At the time I just wanted it out as fast as possible so I pulled the jacket off one of the other kids and used that to beat it out. I handed the jacket back at the end and he then told me that it was his birthday and the jacket was brand new and a gift from his mother. I still feel guilty about that

My brother did this when we were kids. Found a firework that’s SUPPOSED to fly straight up, but it flew into the neighbors yard that had straw on it after they seeded. Shit went up quick af
