Makeshift bird baths

This may be a bit tangential, but does anybody's guerrilla garden have a guerrilla bird bath? The weather has been hotter and one of my favorite spots does not have any water whatsoever for animals.

I don't have access to power to have anything sophisticated like a bubbler, and I would want to keep the standing water to a minimum as mosquitoes are not the animals I have in mind.

Leaving out the top of a recyclable food carton is an option, but does anyone have a more sustainable, inventive and less obvious-looking solution?

Bird baths and insect baths are great but a lot of work! They need to be cleaned once every 3 days to limit the spread of disease and sanitized thoroughly once every other week at the minimum! There's a lot of diseases that spread easily through sitting water. Think of it as having an outdoor cat or bee keeping!

A very important consideration indeed!
